Steve running to chase down and tackle an interception in the Dec. 6, 1998 game against the Carolina Panthers. He did, too! Notice his fist! I'd like to have seen his face on this play...

Usually when he throws an interception he tries to run the guy down to make up for it. But then you wonder if he's going to get hurt and we'll be stuck with a back-up QB all season. I'd rather he let some other player run the guy down.

Steve after a work-out. For some reason, this is the most favorite picture of all the girls and women that see it. :-)

With forearms like that, he could be Mark McGwire.

Dremr14 let me use this photo; she met Steve at training camp for the BYU football team in the summer.
On sideline at the 1998 Chargers pre-season game, Ryan Leaf whupped the Niner's third string. Wow.

I wonder what he's like when Hogi Yogi gets his order wrong....

Steve does this for fun? Buffalo Bills game. Niners lost. Steve's mom told a reporter that she usually watches the games on TV after getting back from church and says it's like 'going to the dentist', because she's nervous Steve will get hurt. His mom actually attended this game, and she said watching it was like getting a root canal.

This is Bruce Smith sacking Steve in the same Buffalo game. Steve's mom says she thinks 'Bruce is a professional, because he sacks but he doesn't try to injure the players.' (as opposed to some other players? hmmm...)

I hate it when players try to injure each other, and especially when the coaches encourage it. A skilled player should be able to take the QB out of the play without taking him out of the series, game, season, or LIFE. Who wants to brag about beating the 49ers if Steve Young is not the QB playing, because he's been injured?

I can't wait to see him in a courtroom, arguing a case....
He said once that his favorite BYU law school class was the 'Negotiations' class.

Somewhere I have a picture of him screeching at a Ref in Laramie while at BYU, so he has always been this hot on the field.
Laughing about something. So I guess he is only cranky on the football field.
